The PW-01 project concentrated on the construction of three significant second bridges and the rehabilitation of existing bridge infrastructure at:

• Meghna

• Gumti

These strategically vital bridges are part of Bangladesh's national road transportation network and facilitate the movement of people, goods, and economic activities along a crucial transportation corridor.

In addition to constructing the new bridges, the project included the rehabilitation of existing bridge infrastructure to improve the capacity, reliability, and functionality of the corridor.
